looking back

I'm a year younger today! Few more years, and I'll be in my sweet sixteen. I've had alot of experiences this past year, both good and bad. I usually only remember the bad ones.

One of them was when my Motorola V3i + iPod (some scandal going on there...) went skinny dipping in the tent and drowned to death. It wasn't only a big blow to my wallet, but also to my heart! The rest, well, either i can't recall them, or i pretend that i can't recall them, or don't try to recall them.

How do some people get so cold, mean, unfeeling and hurtful? Bad habits i guess. Must change for the better.

These are the few good things i remember:

The picture above was taken on the day during my last paper. Firdaus and Me went on a photo rampage, but this was one of the photos i didn't put up here. It was such a tiring day, but i thoroughly enjoyed it! Fir, must go again lah! This time i'll drive my car, and we'll go around! Like that, no need waste time and energy via public transport!

Aaah, the beloved sunset, taken somewhere in Port Dickson a few months ago. It was so nice and peaceful there...NOT. There were children splashing in the waters.

A female peacock sourcing for a potential mate! I know, cos it whispered to me. Taken in the zoo, along with my uncle to test out his new Canon EOS 400D. I borrowed his Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 for this shot!

This is one of my bo liao shots. Was at West Coast Park with my mum and sister, waiting to fetch my sister from work. On second thought, i should've used a smaller aperture, with a tripod. I didn't have a tripod with me, and the lighting conditions were not good, and this lousy image was produced.

A HOPEFUL day at the Singapore Zoo - 21st May 07

My uncle got his new Canon 400d kit as a b'day present from Uncle Sean! We went to the zoo for a snapping session. We were SO BLOODY HOPEFUL of SG's Zoo. We had to walk so far, and then all we saw was ONE camel. Then walk somemore, ONE sun bear. THREE giraffes. TWO Rhinos. ONE polar bear.

How pathetic can the Singapore Zoo get man? I'd rather a smaller enclosure, then don't need to walk so far jsut to see the animals. Then probably rotate the animals each week. This is good leh, we have all heard of visiting professors, or like Backstreet Boys or Michael Buble in Singapore for a limited time. Maybe unique, special animals can be "loaned", then at least the general public have something to look forward to each weekend! Locals only need to visit the zoo very few times, so bulk of the earnings come from tourists. (If you chunk ALL the animals you have, and then people only need to come ONCE, what's gonna happen after that? WHITE HORSE lor. EXTRA.)

But come on man, how many tourists can you expect? Enough rambling already. Some pictures here out of the gazillion i took, most which turned out bad.

Post-Exam Photo Rampage

WHOA SHIOK AH. OVER AT LAST. My 350d partner and me walked frm Outram-Chinatown-Raffles Place-Esplanade-City Hall MRT, and along the way, oh well, is self-explanatory.

Lots of shots were taken, but I uphold the definition of being a noob. More pictures can be found at my Flickr @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/khazampc/
