Dear Mdm,
My daughter, namely AAA, is currently on long medical excuse from physically taxing activities which extends all the way until 27th April 2007, which explains her absence from your practices. I agree that AAA is partly to blame for failure to inform you personally. Instead, she sought her friend’s help to submit the MC, who then reported to your band manager. According to this friend, your band manager mentioned that it was okay and signaled that there was no need for submission. The MC was thus, unable to reach you.
On 17th April 2007, about 5:40PM, you called my house number. I picked up the phone and was shocked by the rudeness of the caller. My initial thoughts were that the caller must be AAA’s schoolmate, and so I passed the telephone to my daughter. To my dismay, it was actually you. You scolded my daughter in such a high tone, that I was able to hear everything you said. What was worse was that you rambled on and on, giving my daughter zero chance of explaining, only until the end.
Dear Madam. I understand your frustrations regarding the situation, however your actions are uncalled for. In your telephone call, the very first person you should have addressed was me, because I am Farah’s mother and it is basic courtesy to do so; to address the owner of the house or someone of higher authority than the concerned child. If your intention is to seek clarification, then I suggest you taking a professional approach, instead of intimidation.
I seek your understanding regarding this matter. Do not make a mountain out of a molehill. At the end of the day, you will still get your letter.
P.S: My husband and son have set up an appointment with the Vice-Principal of your school on XXth XXX 2007 at XXam in the General Office. Feel free to drop by for any clarifications.
